Mary Lou McDonald to discuss recent Dáil disruption on RTÉ's Late Late Show

Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald will appear on this week's edition of RTÉ's The Late Late Show to discuss the disruptive beginning of this Dáil term.

The Dublin TD will share her thoughts on Sinn Féin’s performance in recent elections and look ahead to the party’s priorities in opposition, including their ongoing campaign for a united Ireland.

Also appearing in Friday's show will be British actor and producer Simon Pegg, known for hits like Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run, as well as roles in Star Trek and Star Wars. He will speak to host Patrick Kielty about his return to the role of Benji Dunn in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

British singer Paloma Faith will be in studio to discuss her pivot from pop to podcasting with her new show Mad, Sad and Bad. She will also be chatting about her bestselling book MILF, the myth of perfect motherhood and celebrating her birthday in Ireland. 

Cork comedian Chris Kent will also sit down with Kielty ahead of his Irish tour Offline, while Dublin rapper KhakiKid will perform his track Date Nite.

The Late Late Show airs at 9.35pm on Friday on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
