Cloghan Social Dancing Club donates funds to two worthy causes

The members of Cloghan Social Dancing Club in west Offaly recently made two donations of €1,000 each to worthy causes from social events they organised in recent months.

The first donation was made to the members of the Belmont High Street Ladies group who organised a number of Daffodil Day events in the local area on March 28 last, which was national Daffodil Day 2025.

Pat Claffey and Ray Delaney from Cloghan Social Dancing Club presented a cheque for €1,000 to Mary McManus, Breda Killian and Marian McManus from the Belmont High Street Ladies group , the proceeds of their social dancing night which took place on March 28.

The funds, which were raised at a recent social event organised by Clogan Social Dancing Club, will go towards the fundraising drive in aid of little Sophie.
