Community litter pick in Mucklagh on Saturday next

As part of the National Spring Clean initiative, which takes place throughout the month of April, local Fianna Fail Cllr, Ollie Bryant, has organised a litter pick in Mucklagh on Saturday next, April 26.

He is seeking the assistance of as many volunteers as possible to take part in the litter pick., which takes place from 10am to 12 noon. Volunteers are asked to meet at Mucklagh Community Centre at 10am for a cuppa and a chat before the serious work of picking litter gets underway!

Cllr Bryant says bags, gloves and litter pickers will be provided, and he has asked all those who are free to lend a hand and are willing to help out, to come along to the community centre at 10am on Saturday next. "Every bit of help counts" he says.
