Offaly jockey triumphs in Tramore

Offaly jockey Philip Donovan teamed up with Co. Galway trainer Darren Collins to win the two and three quarter mile handicap chase on the eight-year-old Island Mccoo at Tramore on Monday.

Owned and bred by Raymond Healy, the 16/1 chance, with Moneygall native Donovan on board, led at the second-last fence. And he went to score a two-length win over the Robert Tyner-trained Wyoming Baby.
