Ireland's Fittest Family looking for local families to take part

RTE is looking for families to take part in the new series of Ireland's Fittest Family, with the winning family set to walk away with a top prize of €15,000.

Promising a series that will be “bigger, bolder and tougher than ever” and now in its 13th year, the competition will be more intense than ever before, with some unexpected twists and turns thrown in to peak viewer interest.

The following rules apply:

1. Teams must have at least one male and one female member.

2. Teams must have at least two generations.

3. Teams can be made up of four immediate family members (a minimum of one parent/step-parent, one child) or, if this isn't possible, three immediate family members and one extended family member such as a grandparent, first cousin, aunt or uncle.

4. The minimum age to take part is 14 years old (by June 14, 2025)

The series will be filmed between May and August of this year, and families taking part will be required for up to eight filming days (mostly on location) over this period.

The team behind Ireland's Fittest Family will be combing the country to find the fittest, fastest and strongest families, so if you think it could be your family, now is your big chance to step forward!
