Esker Arts celebrates 20 years of Anam Beo

Esker Arts is preparing to celebrate 20 years of Anam Beo with an event at 1pm on Tuesday, April 29.

Anam Beo is an arts organisation that "encourages self activations and empowerment through meaningful engagements with consultative arts practices".

Artists facilitate arts inclusion with the delivery of collaborative projects and artists initiatives in care and community settings.

Anam Beo warmly invites the community to special gatherings to mark 20 years of arts and health.

The event aims to "reflect on our journey, celebrate our impact, and look ahead to the future of creative engagement in health and community settings".

The anniversary offers a unique opportunity to explore Offaly’s creative arts spaces, experience the Anam Beo programme, and engage with key voices highlighting the intersection of arts, health, critical social thinking, and public engagement.

A full programme of events and postcard launch will take place on April 30 and during Bealtaine at Esker Arts.
