Offaly hurlers and footballers being shown on TG4 this weekend
Offaly supporters will have a chance to follow the fortunes of both their senior hurlers and senior footballers on TG4 this weekend.
The station's cameras will be in Waterford on Saturday to see Johnny Kelly's men take on The Déise. The television coverage starts at 3.45, with throw-in at 4pm.
It's been a very positive campaign for the Offaly hurlers to date. After drawing with Carlow in their Allianz Hurling League Division 1B opener in January, they went on to record wins against Laois, Antrim, Dublin and Westmeath.
The footballers are also flying high at present, with their victory at home against Kildare last weekend putting them in pole position to secure promotion to Division 2.
On Sunday, the team travels to Ennis to take on Clare, with the fixture getting underway at 2pm.
The game will be shown live on the TG4 App, with deferred coverage on TG4 television due to start at 5.35pm on Sunday.
So far in this campaign, the footballers have defeated Sligo, Laois, Antrim, Leitrim and Kildare, with the sole blemish on their record coming in the form of a one-point defeat away to Fermanagh last month.
