Winners announced for Tullamore St Patrick's Day Parade awards
The winners of the Tullamore St. Patrick's Day Parade have been announced.
Participants in the parade were in the running for a total of twelve awards, with eleven winners having been picked.
The award for Best Overall Entry was awarded to St Mary's Youth & Community Centre.
The award for the Best New Entry went to the Ukrainian Group.
The Best Community Entry went to Tullamore Town Football Club School Boys & School Girls Soccer Club
The Best School Entry was awarded to Gaelscoil Eiscir Riada.
The award for the Best Band Entry went to Mullingar Town Band.
Best Sports Entry was awarded to Killeigh School Boys and Girls Soccer Club.
The award for the Best Youth Entry went to Tullamore Basketball Club.
The Most Entertaining Entry was awarded to Tullamore Indian Association.
The award for the Best Business Entry went to K.C. Motorcycles & Garden Equipment.
In the Best Dressed Dog category, first place went to Bruno & Tyson (Rotweilers) - owner Mike Keegan & Joe Kerry, and the runner-up went to Lorna Bracken and family with their dog Louie.
The Best Window Display award went to Offaly Hospice, with the Runner Up award going to Aidan Walsh Opticians.

The awards are set to be presented in a ceremony on Friday, April 4, in The Old Harbour Bar, Market Square, Tullamore.
