Worn tyre detected at Edenderry checkpoint

As part of a recent joint operation between Edenderry Gardai and the Road Safety Authority, a number of checkpoints were carried out in the Edenderry area..

Among the trucks and buses that were inspected as part of the joint operation was one truck which had a worn tyre.

A picture of the defective tyre was posted on the Facebook page of the An Garda Siochána Laois/Offaly to serve as a warning to all motorists to have their tyres checked on a regular basis.
