Another fog warning for the Midlands

Met Éireann has issued another Status Yellow fog warning for the Midlands which is due to come into effect from 10pm tonight (Tuesday, January 21) until 10am tomorrow morning (Wednesday).

Many parts of the country were already covered in dense fog throughout the day on Monday, which led to Met Éireann issuing its first Status Yellow weather warning of the week for dense fog.

The latest weather warning will see foggy conditions descend on 15 counties, including Westmeath, Offaly and Roscommon, which Met Éirean has warned will “lead to impaired visibility”.

Other counties which are affected by the Status Yellow fog warning include: Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Tipperary & Waterford.
