Cyclist 'seriously injured' in Tullamore road accident

A cyclist was seriously injured in a road traffic accident on Saturday in Tullamore.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision between a cyclist and a car that occurred at approximately 11am.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and taken to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore for treatment.

Gardai are investigating the incident.
