Fianna Fáil leader meets Birr students at Young Scientist exhibition

The Tánaiste and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin visited the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition in the RDS yesterday - and a poultry-themed project by students in Birr was among those which caught his eye.

'Chicken Talk' is the name of the group project from St Brendan’s Community School in Birr.

As part of their exhibition display, the Offaly students brought a chicken face mask, which the former and future Taoiseach was happy to try on for size!

The project, which was entered in the Biological & Ecological category, is the work of students André Mulcahy Viegas, Alex Loughnane, and Alfie McGrath.
