Edenderry boys explore Enchanted Kingdom at Slane Castle

Two Edenderry boys were among the guests arriving at Slane Castle in recent weeks for a magical experience in the historic grounds.

J.J. Doyle (11) and Max O Brien (11) from Ballyfore in Edenderry joined visitors that have been flocking to Slane since The Enchanted Kingdom opened there in mid-November.

The experience is a walk of approximately one kilometre  with immersive light and sound installations using 3D sound mapping, targeted projection technology, special effects, interactive lighting design and custom-built structures.

It also includes a light show projected onto the walls of Slane Castle.

It is family friendly, accessible for wheelchairs and buggies and people of all ages and abilities, and provides free parking.

The Enchanted Kingdom is also helping to raise funds and awareness for Special Hands, an activity group dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with additional needs.
