150 new homes for Tullamore to be delivered by next summer
Dublin-based property developers, Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes, are to begin immediate construction of 150 new homes in Tullamore which are expected to be delivered next summer.
The residential landbank, with planning permission for 150 homes, which has been acquired by Fitzpatrick & Heavey, is in the Puttaghaun area of Tullamore and is located beside the Midland Regional Hospital and adjacent to the planned Wellwood Hospital site.
The development isd expected to bring significant employment opportunities to the region, with Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes estimating that close to 100 people will be working onsite to deliver the ambitious housing project.

Newly-elected Offaly TD Tony McCormack also expressed his delight at news of this new development in Tullamore and described it as "a hugely positive development" for the town. "These additional homes will address critical shortages in housing for the area, support our health professionals and families, and create significant employment opportunities” he said.
