Offaly's first 24-hour gym is now open in Tullamore

Offaly's first 24-hour gym opened yesterday (Monday, November 25) as Snap Fitness comes to Tullamore Retail Park.

The gym has taken up residence of the vacant unit previously occupied by Carpetright, which boasts with over 10,000 sq. ft. of space. The unit was previously unoccupied since June 2023.

Snap Fitness is independently owned by franchisee Brinderjeet Gill, who already operates multiple Snap Fitness sites.

“We’re excited to be able to bring Snap Fitness to Tullamore,” said Brinderjeet.

“As a franchised business, Snap Fitness prides itself on community and people can expect a gym where people of all abilities can feel comfortable and welcome in."

“We will be creating a safe, vibrant and inspiring space for people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing,” he added.

The gym has equipment for all types of exercise at the Tullamore location, including a spacious free weights area, cardio zone, functional training area and strength equipment machines.

Group exercise classes are set to be included as part of the membership. The gym will have two studios - one dedicated for group exercise and another for indoor cycling.

They specialise in gyms which are open 24/7 and offer monthly contracts, personal training and a variety of equipment.
