Tullamore medical manufacturer raises €7,000 for Dochas

Three employees from Tullamore-based medical manufacturer Cardinal Health have raised €7,000 for Dochas Offaly Cancer Support.
Tanya Delaney, Brendan Guinan, and Pat Gorman spent four months fundraising ahead of the Dochas Abseil Challenge which took place in Croke Park on October 19.
“We did a raffle in work which included a signed Offaly Under 20s Hurling Champions jersey, and we also donated money collected from the Return Scheme cans,” said Brendan.
Cardinal Health also donated generously to the fundraiser, with both mangers and staff showing great support for the trio in their fundraising efforts.
The company matched each employees donation by €1,000, adding a total of €3,000 to the final sum.
Brendan said raising funds to give back to Dochas was a no brainer.
“The main reason we got involved was because everybody is touched by cancer, or knows someone who is.
“Dochas is a local charity, and they're part of our community. They give great care to patients in Tullamore and throughout Offaly.”
Brendan, Tanya, and Pat extended their sincere thanks to their colleagues and managers in Cardinal Health for their support.
They also thanked John and Sandra from Dochas Offaly for all their help.
