Tullamore Library to close for a week for essential repairs
Offaly County Council has announced the temporary closure of Tullamore Library later this month for essential repair works.
The temporary closure will come into effect on Monday, November 25 next and will continue until Friday, November 29. The library will reopen as normal on Saturday, November 30.
Users of the local library service are reminded that the outdoor book return will not be available while the upgrades are happening, but books can be borrowed for longer loan periods ahead of time.
However, the online access to services at Tullamore Library will be unaffected, so the digital library is always available online for you to borrow eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers and more. Patrons need to have up-to-date library membership and a PIN to access eResources.
Library members can access any of our other seven library branches with their Offaly Libraries card.
Tullamore Library regrets any inconvenience caused to patrons during the brief closure period, and look forward to offering an improved service when they reopen on Saturday, November 30.
