Stage School quintet crowned Offaly Ballad Scór winners

Five talented members of Tullamore Stage School were crowned Offaly Ballad Group champions at Scór na nÓg, and will now go on to represent their county at the Leinster semi-finals in Tullamore on Saturday, November 16 next.

The talented quintet of Anna Doorley, Méabh Guilfoyle, Lucy Doorley, Niall Byrne and Ryan Minnock represented their home club of Ballinamere/Durrow GAA with great distinction in the talent competition, and are wished the very best of luck in the semi-finals.

Joe Haverty, Seán Finlay Scanlon, Frankie Sheehan and Anna Kinnarney, who earned a 5th place slot in the Tráth na gCeist competition at Scór na nÓg, representing Ballinamere/Durrow GAA Club.

Meanwhile, the Ballinamere/Durrow GAA Club quiz team of Joe Haverty, Seán Finlay Scanlon, Frankie Sheehan and Anna Kinnarney earned an impressive 5th place spot in the Tráth na gCeist competition at Scór na nÓg. This was a great performance from such a young team at their inaugural outing in the competition, and bodes well for the future.
