Tullamore Women to represent Ireland at Masters Hockey World Cup
Tullamore natives Lorna Bagnall and Suzanne Davis (née Colton) have been selected to play for Ireland in the upcoming over-50s Women’s Masters Hockey World Cup.
The event is set to be held in New Zealand this November.
Both Lorna and Suzanne began their hockey journeys at school and later honed their skills with Tullamore Hockey Club.
Over the years, their dedication and talent have seen them rise to the top of their game, earning a spot on the national team for this prestigious international tournament.
Masters Hockey not only allows players to compete on an international stage, but also showcases that hockey is truly a game for life.
As Masters Hockey is fully self-funded, with a significant trip to New Zealand ahead, Lorna and Suzanne are seeking support from the local community to help them represent Ireland on the global stage.
There are several sponsorship opportunities available, and the two women would greatly appreciate any support with the cost of competing internationally.
