Púca Spooka set for spooktacular return this Halloween

This Halloween, festivalgoers and Halloween enthusiasts can look forward to the highly anticipated return of the Púca Spooka festival to Tullamore.

Promising high-spirited fun, wickedly good entertainment and eye-popping visuals, Púca Spooka will return this October with new attractions and experiences along with many returning favourites.

The festival starts on Saturday, October 26, and runs until Sunday, October 27. This year there will be something for all the family to enjoy, from spooky haunting experiences to pumpkin patch and from arts and crafts, viking village, circus carnival, all nestled safely in the grounds of Lloyd Town Park, Tullamore.

This year all businesses are being encouraged to get decorating, in the most creative and sustainable way possible, to add to the wonderful atmosphere in Tullamore town in the run up to the Púca Spooka Festival.

"We're thrilled to bring visitors another year of festive fun," says Tom Shanahan, director of services with Offaly County Council.

"It takes months of thoughtful planning to ensure that every season of Púca Spooka is better than the last. This year we will be adding new attractions, we are always making small improvements that have a big impact on the visitor experience."

Ticket sales are being handled by Eventbrite. Pre-sale tickets are set to go on sale next Wednesday, with main ticket sales starting next Friday. There is a six-ticket limit per transaction.

A variety of food and beverage options will be available to visitors at the event, which is produced by Up Close and Personal Promotions, and supported by Tullamore Municipal District of Offaly County Council.

Event organisers will manage access to ensure festival-goers enjoy the huge variety of experiences safely and at their leisure.
