Tullamore's Rose Egan to compete in National Brown Bread Baking Competition final

Rose Egan from Tullamore is set to compete in the final of the National Brown Bread Baking Competition at the Ploughing Championships tomorrow (Thursday, September 19).

The Offaly woman is one of four to make it through to the final of the competition.

The first semi-final took place yesterday, September 17, with the second semi-final taking place today.

The winning brown bread baker will walk away with a cash prize of €5,000 and a NEFF Slide & Hide oven, with the three finalists all walking away with a €500 Euronics gift card.

The National Brown Bread Baking Competition is supported by Euronics, in association with the NPA and ICA.
