Edenderry ladies rugby team enjoy Mountlucas parkrun

Members and coaches from the Edenderry senior women's rugby team recently attended Mountlucas parkrun. They faced very warm weather in their running but it didn't diminish their positive attitude and team spirit.

Edenderry RFC ladies team is an Irish rugby team based in Offaly, playing in Division 3 of the Leinster League. The ladies, having being crowned the Divison 4 League champions last season, now head into the new season as potential challengers for the Division 3 title.

Also reaching the final of the Paul Cusack Cup last season the Edenderry ladies tested the Navan ladies to the limit losing narrowly after an enthralling match.

Edenderry, now under the direction of new Head Coach Domnick Gleeson and his assistants Jason Gleeson, Ben Gleeson and Con Heavey, are looking forward to getting the season started and challenging for more honours once again.

The girls are a very tight group and very united.

They take great pride in wearing the club jersey and promoting and supporting the development and improvement of the ladies game of rugby

The ladies train on a Tuesday and Thursday night at 7pm in Coolavacoose and encourage ladies in the area to come along and give womens rugby a try.

You will be made very welcome and will be guaranteed to enjoy the training while making new friends.
