Clara Bog Visitor Centre has reopened its doors for a series of Heritage Week events.
The visitor centre has been closed since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in February 2020.
The facility, located on the Ballycumber Road, is 'delighted' to be open again.
Offaly Senator Pippa Hackett took to X to share her excitement for the reopening of the centre.
She said: “Delighted Clara Bog Visitor Centre is open to public again!
“I look forward to seeing the Centre expand its programme to community & schools over coming months.”
A number of Heritage Week events are taking place in the centre, including a guided walk of Doorey Wood this evening August 20, as well as a botany walk with Fiona Devery from the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland on Wednesday August 24 at 3pm.
These events require booking. For further information visit heritageweek.ie.
