NAME: Paddy Broder.

ADDRESS: Tubber Road, Moate

PARTY: Irish Freedom Party.

SPECIAL AREAS OF INTEREST:

Preserving our sovereignty, culture and traditions, including the right to cut our own turf, thereby ensuring our energy independence and the ability of rural communities to affordably heat their homes.

A strengthening of public safety measures in regards to law and order, and a full repair of trust between Irish citizens and the Gardai.

Supports and investment for our tourism sector to erase the damage done through the repurposing of hotels and guesthouses.

Increased funding for our culture, arts and youth activities to repair local spirit and breathe life into communities destroyed by recent government and NGO policies.

WHY ARE YOU RUNNING IN THIS ELECTION?

Because I care deeply about my community, my culture, and my country and feel they are worth saving.

WHAT ARE THE TWO BIGGEST ISSUES IN YOUR AREA?

Ensuring that we have a secure and properly monitored migration policy in place with robust background checks carried out to ensure that the safety of our citizens is paramount and our welfare system is not subject to abuse.

Our housing and planning laws need to be more friendly to first time home owners. These laws also need to cater to our native Irish citizens rather than being laws enforced on us by EU bureaucrats.

WHO DO YOU ADMIRE MOST AND WHY?

Mahatma Gandhi took on the might of the British empire with a peaceful non-violent campaign of protest and resistance and won for the people of India their freedom from British colonial rule, and he inspired civil rights movement across the world!
