Offaly school celebrates fourth green schools flag

Coláiste Naomh Cormac is celebrating its fourth Green Schools Flag.

The school congratulated its e green schools committee for receiving the flag, which comes under the theme of travel and is funded by the Department of Transport and supported by the National Transport Authority.

The aim of the theme is to increase the number of students walking, cycling, scooting, using public transport or carpooling on the way to school. The school hopes that this achievement will have a positive impact on its school community, promoting a healthier and more active lifestyle while also having a positive impact on our environment.
