Renowned author Colm Tóibín set for Tullamore Library event

Colm Tóibín, the author of such renowned works as Brooklyn, The Master, and Nora Webster, is coming to Tullamore in June for a book club event in the town's library.

Mr Tóibín, the Laureate for Irish Fiction, will be taking part in The Art of Reading Book Club at the library on Tuesday, June 11.

There he will be meeting with author and Longford native Belinda McKeon to discuss Belinda's novel, Solace.

Tullamore Library said readers, book lovers and book clubs everywhere were invited to attend, but it added that spaces were limited.
