Man released without charge in Quilligan murder probe

A man has been released by detectives investigating the murder of Kieran Quilligan in Cork city.
The 47-year-old was reported missing last September.
His remains were discovered last week.
Gardaí have not disclosed information in relation to the cause of death.
Two men have been arrested in the murder investigation.
A Garda spokesperson said on Monday that a man, aged in his 20s, has been released without charge, adding that a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The second man, aged in his 30s, remained in custody at a Garda Station in Cork city on Monday.
The spokesperson added: “investigations are ongoing”.
