Bus Éireann cancels morning school bus transport services
Bus Éireann has announced that school bus services in the 19 counties subject to Status Red or Orange warnings will not operate on Monday morning.
In a statement tonight, Bus Éireann said its decision followed the move to delay the opening of schools until 10am tomorrow.
The decision means there will be no school bus services operated by Bus Éireann in the morning in Westmeath, Roscommon, Longford, Offaly and Galway (which are all among the 19 counties affected).
However, afternoon services will operate as normal, subject to local road conditions being safe to travel.
Meanwhile, Bus Éireann has also announced a plethora of cancellation of regular services, including some serving Athlone.
