Offaly artists' group exhibition in Tullamore

Esker Arts Centre in Tullamore will showcase work by artists from or living in County Offaly in a new exhibition opening next weekend.

The Offaly Artists Show offers a platform for artists at all stages of development – from emerging to established artists. It will be a biennial event, with the aim of establishing a major group exhibition for the midlands.

Following its opening in April of this year, Esker Arts aims to provide opportunities for Offaly artists to make and show their work. This exhibition will be the first time artmakers of the county come together to showcase the best of work being created in the county. It is a celebration of the quality and diversity of the art from the county.

The work in the exhibition was selected by Patrick Murphy, Director, Royal Hibernian Academy.

Admission to the exhibition, which opens on Saturday, November 4 is free. The exhibition will continue until December 22.
