Tullamore Musical Society announces next show
Tullamore Musical Society has announced 'Rock of Ages' as its production for the 2023-2024 season.
The society is excited to bring this electrifying musical to its audience and is eager to showcase the talent and dedication of its cast and crew.
Leading the society into this exciting chapter is Colin Hughes, who has been appointed as the Chairperson of the new committee. Joining him are John Conroy as the President, Ruth Kelly as the Treasurer, Sarah Casserley as the Public Relations Officer, Aisling Geoghegan as the Secretary and Committee Members - Emma Dench and Ruth Kelly. These members bring with them a wealth of experience and a shared passion for musical theatre, ensuring a successful and memorable season ahead.
'Rock of Ages' has been carefully chosen as the 2023-2024 production, following the resounding success of 'Michael Collins' last year.
Chairperson Colin Hughes expressed his delight in the selection, stating: "This is another big one for us after the success of 'Michael Collins' last year. We are so excited to bring 'Rock of Ages' to our cast, and we believe they are going to deliver an outstanding performance in the show."

The musical, "Rock of Ages," will be staged from February 10 to February 17, 2024, at Esker Arts Theatre, featuring a captivating blend of rock 'n' roll anthems and an engaging storyline set in the 1980s on the Sunset Strip. It promises to be an exhilarating journey through the era of big dreams, love, and rock music, captivating the hearts of audiences of all ages.
