Byrne Carolan Cunningham LLP solicitors, based in Mardyke Street, Athlone was named the Leinster Law Firm of the Year award recently at the Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards.

The annual event is designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession of Ireland, commending the achievements of lawyers.

The overall Law Firm of the Year award went to Gore & Grimes Solicitors LLP in Dublin.

The winners were revealed at a gala awards ceremony on June 9 last in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin, hosted by Ivan Yates.

Byrne Carolan Cunningham LLP Solicitors was founded in 1992 when the firm opened their first office in the heart of Athlone, and they have since expanded with offices in Moate, Lanesborough, Co Longford, Galway city and Dublin city.
