Offaly woman wins big at Leinster Rugby Awards 2023

An Offaly woman recently received a prestigious award at the Leinster Rugby Awards 2023.

Aoife Dalton from Clara began her rugby career with Tullamore RFC and she was named BearingPoint Women’s Young Player of the Year at the awards ceremony.

Aoife is a former student of Moate Community School and was a key figure in the school's ladies football teams in recent years. She captained the team which won the All Ireland Junior B gaelic football title in 2019 and was a member of the team which reached the final of the Senior A championship in 2020.
