Offaly GAA urges support for U20 hurlers in tomorrow's Leinster semi final

The Offaly county board has urged locals to get behind the county's under-20 hurlers as they prepare to face Dublin in the Leinster semi-final in Tullamore tomorrow (Wednesday, May 10), with throw-in at 6.45pm.

The young Faithful men advanced to this stage with an eye-catching 3-20 to 2-17 win over Galway at Glenisk O'Connor Park in late April.

In a social media post this week, Offaly GAA said it was "asking all supporters to get behind our U-20 hurlers" for tomorrow's clash with the Dubs.

Admission for Under-16s is free, and Offaly GAA sponsor Glenisk will be holding a free yogurt promotion that offers young supporters a chance to win some Offaly GAA gear.

"All juveniles that attend the match will receive a yogurt that can be collected at designated areas behind the goals," Offaly GAA stated.

"The base of the yogurts will all be numbered. If your number is drawn out at half-time you will receive an Offaly jersey or an Offaly crew neck jumper or an Offaly bobble hat."

Admission to the game for those over the age of 16 is priced at €10, and tickets can be purchased here.
