Offaly football team named for Leinster semi-final

The Offaly team for this Sunday's Leinster senior football semi-final against Louth at Croke Park has been named.

Martin Murphy has made one enforced change to the team which defeated Meath as Cian Donohoe replaces the injured Rory Egan, the scorer of Offaly's goal in Tullamore last Sunday.

The Offaly half-back line also includes Peter Cunningham, who returned from his honeymoon in Italy to play a key role in the win over Meath (1-11 to 0-10).

Sunday's clash with Mickey Harte's Louth charges will be Offaly's first Leinster SFC semi-final since 2007, when they lost out to Dublin.

Louth booked their place in the last four when they overcame a poor first-half display against Westmeath which saw them trail by eight points at half-time.

The Offaly v Louth clash is listed for a 1.45 throw-in, and it will be followed by the meeting of reigning Leinster champions Dublin and Kildare (4pm). Both games will be shown on the GAAGO service.
