Over 70 participants in latest parkrun

A very cold but bright morning greeted the participants at last Saturday’s Mount Lucas parkrun.

Over 70 people braved the elements to walk, run and jog the 5km course. Conditions were very cold at the start, however the sun did shine halfway through the run, resulting in a pleasant finish for all participants.

Neil Deere, a regular volunteer at Mountlucas, celebrated his 100th parkrun on the morning.

Parkrun is a free weekly timed 5k event for runners and walkers that takes place every Saturday morning at more than 2,000 locations in 23 Countries across the world.
