Threshing event returns to Doon

Preparations are well under way for Rashina Vintage Club's Threshing and Working Field Day on Sunday, September 11 in Moony's Field, Doon.

It is the first time the event has happened in several years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Organisers say the corn was cut recently with both a vintage Lanz tractor and a modern combine harvester.

There will be plenty of amuse all ages on the day from vintage tractors, classic cars, a BBQ, traditional food, entertainment for kids, local musicians will also be making an appearance and much more. Entry is just €5.
