Disappointment for Offaly's Jordan Conroy in Dancing with the Stars final
Following two stellar performances in the final of Dancing with the Stars, Offaly rugby player Jordan Conroy was named a runner-up along with Erica Cody and Ellen Keane.
For his first dance of the night, the Tullamore sportman performed a paso doble to 'Paint It Black' by Filip Lacković for his judges' choice routine.
Head Judge, Loraine Barry said: "I don't think I would ever tire of watching that. I feel this dance totally sums you up Jordan. Intense and a smouldering fire-like energy. A passion which gives softness. You nailed the spin as well. Outstanding."
Arthur Gourounlian said: "We wanted you to turn the three 9's into 10's. We wanted you to work on the cape work and spins. You have to be so precise. Salome, I want to salute you on the choreography."
Fellow Judge Brian Redmond commented "The back flip - the bit of hair I've got left....An absolute pleasure to watch. If you can match that in your showdance, it'll be one amazing performance."
Jordan and Salome scored 30 points from the judges.
The final four contestants then took to the floor for a second time with their showdances in their last bid to emerge victorious at the end of the evening.
Jordan and his partner Salome performed a high energy hip hop routine to 'Fire it Up' by Outasight for their final dance.
Judge Brian Redmond said "The last dance of season five, but I think that could be the best dance of five seasons!"
Jordan and Salome again received a perfect score of 30 from the judges.
