Connect with history and nature at Lough Boora walk and talk

Lough Boora Discovery Park is the venue for a community walk and talk event this Saturday, July 25.

The walk will be led by Séamus Barron and Séan Craven, who will share their knowledge of the history of Bord na Móna.

It promises to be a lovely opportunity to absorb the heritage of the aera through storytelling while also enjoying the benefits of fresh air and the sounds of nature.

It is also a nice opportunity to take a relaxing walk with family and friends and to enjoy all that this unique local amenity has to offer on a Saturday morning.

The walk will start at 11am. Walkers are advised to bring along their own mask. There will be adherence to Covid-19 guidelines to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience.
