Local pitch and putt club to host Irish Open

Tullamore Pitch and Putt Club has announced that it has been selected to host the Irish Open in 2022.

In a post on its Facebook page yesterday, the club said the course and the town had chosen to host what it said is "the most prestigious event in the Irish Pitch & Putt calendar".

"We are delighted and can’t wait to welcome people from all over Europe."
