Thursday Opens - The Thursday open days are continuing apace and are well attended. Played over 18 holes usually but weather may demand a shorter course on some days. Captain"s Dinner Dance The annual captain"s dinner takes place in the Bridge House Hotel on Friday, January 16 next and tickets are now available at the very reasonable price of €45. As usual it is a mixed event where both Ladies and Men"s Captain"s are honoured. Tickets can be booked at the clubhouse on 057-9353384. Change Of Start Times Players competing on Sunday mornings please note that for a trial period from next Sunday there will be a 2 tee start. So please ring the clubhouse for a time so that you know what your tee and time of start is. This weekend"s winners were first John Meehan, 43 points, and second Stephen Egan, 43 also, but losing out on the back 9. In the junior section Brian McCormack won with 41 points. Congratulations also go to the McCormack brothers John and Aidan, who won both the fourball and foursomes match play competitions.
