Tullamore to host Christmas market

This December a new festival is set to hit the streets of Tullamore - the Offaly Christmas Market Festival. The new festival that's being organised by a sub group of the Offaly Community Forum will take place over the four Sundays of December in O'Connor Square. Up to 30 stalls will be available with local artisan food, art and crafts, Christmas ornaments and good retail products. Markets will begin at noon and run until 9pm. It has also been confirmed that the Tullamore Christmas lights will be turned on during the festival's first day. A number of local schools, bands, choirs and street performers will also be in attendance.
