Day of the dead as hullabaloo comes back to edenderry

Hullabaloo children’s arts festival makes a welcome return to Edenderry this year, following its introduction to the town last year during the October midterm break.

This year the festival occupies more spaces in the town, with workshops in the youth cafe, community cabin and library and a performance in the town hall.

Unique to Edenderry this year are the Day of the Dead workshops - special Hallowe’en inspired spookiness to ensure Edenderry’s young trick or treaters will be the best dressed in the county.

Children can opt to take part in up to six different workshops and then come together at the town hall at 3.30pm on Hallowe’en to frighten the living daylights out of the town.

While quite a few workshops are already booked out, there’s still lots to see as part of the festival including a performance by Tullamore Amateur Dramatic Society, a hip hop dance workshop and music.
