9-year-old Tiegan's charity hair cut for kids with alopecia
A generous nine-year-old Offaly girl with long, dark hair last week donated twelve inches of it to the Rapunzel Foundation to help children suffering from alopecia.
Young Tiegan Kidney lives in Pullough, and last Wednesday during her Easter holidays she enlisted the help of Jessie from Jessie’s Hair Salon in Banagher to cut her hair for the good of others.
Speaking to the Offaly Independent Tiegan’s father James said his daughter’s good deed shows how a small thing can help others.
“We are all so proud of her as she has been growing her hair for three years to get the length to donate it to this foundation,” he explained.
