"We will be Strong" launch date revealed
A launch date for Brendan Keeley’s song for Ireland - “We will be Strong” - has been unveiled. The anthem of hope that aims to inspire Ireland’s citizens will be released on Friday, April 19 with a massive celebration party in the Tullamore Court Hotel.
Speaking to the Offaly Independent Brendan said the launch party will be open to all for the price of just €5, while “We will be Strong” will be available on the night and afterwards online and in record shops for just €3.
The April 19 party is shaping up to be a good one. While final plans have yet to be put in place Brendan said he’s currently putting a band together for the night, while the Tullamore Gospel Choir is also lined up for an appearance. Additional special guests will be announced before the event, he added.
Brendan said the song that was helped along by over 2,000 locals who turned up at O’Connor Park in Tullamore on January 27 last despite severe weather conditions is almost mixed now. “We had dreadful problems given the weather on the day, and trying to filter out the wind,” Brendan explained. However those problems have now been overcome and Brendan said the result “sounds fantastic”.
