Tullamore RFC Notes

Over 250 youth players and parents attended the annual awards night in the club last Wednesday. President Roy Cobbe welcomed everyone and thanked the coaches for the work they did from last September to April "09. The parents who brought the lads training and supported the club at youth matches were also thanked. The President and Club Captain, Gearoid O"Grady, presented the player of the year and most improved player awards from U8s to U18s. Nuala English presented the Michael English Memorial Trophy to the U12 player of the year to Paul O"Toole and Shane Buggy presented the Kenneth Buggy Memorial Trophy to the U14 Player of the year to Oisin Cusack. Chairman Paddy Galvin closed the night by reminding everyone that it takes a considerable amount of money to run the club and he thanked parents for their support of fundraisers this season and looked forward to their continued support. He thanked all present on the night and looked forward to seeing everyone in September. Tullamore R.F.C.
