Housing: €9.5m Tullamore Development gets green light

Oaklee Housing received the green light for their new €9.5 million construction project in Kearney’s Field, Tullamore.

Working in partnership with Offaly County Council, Oaklee Housing proposed the development of a site, which will include 41 new housing units; providing much needed homes in the area.

The development, on the Clara Road in Tullamore will accommodate up to 170 people in a mix of one to four bedroom general needs homes, including two wheelchair accessible houses.

Construction is due to commence in November 2019 and expected to last approximately 18 months.

Construction of 41 housing units, two four-bed two-storey unit; 22 three-bed two-storey units; five two-bed two-storey units; eight two-bed single storey units; and four one- bed single storey units, and all associated site works.
