Kilcormac Tidy Towns has huge turn out for Spring Clean event

Kilcormac Tidy Towns hosted their first outing of the season for the National Spring Clean on Monday, April 28.
The community group had a huge turnout for the event, which saw attendees collecting litter from the local area.
A spokesperson for the group said: "It was brilliant to see new faces and some of our younger community members getting stuck in! Thank you to everyone who came out and made a difference!
"Huge thanks to our Litter Warden Alan from Offaly County Council for collecting all the bags we collected in the morning."
The next meet-up will be on Monday, May 12, at 7:30 PM where Kilcormac Tidy Towns begin work on sprucing up the Town Park. Everyone is welcome.
