Killeigh's Nicole chosen as the 2025 Offaly Rose

Killeigh native Nicole Heffernan has been selected as the Offaly Rose for 2025.

The Offaly Rose Centre selected the 2025 Offaly Rose at an event hosted in the Tullamore Court Hotel on Sunday (April 20).

The 24-year-old is a teacher who is furthering her education with a Masters in the University of Limerick this coming September.

At the end of the night, 2023 Offaly Rose Allie Leahy handed over the Offaly Rose sash to Nicole, who is now the 9th Rose to be selected for this year's Rose of Tralee International Festival. Nicole was sponsored by Newtown Homes.

There was stiff competition on the night, as 21 dazzling ladies put themselves forward for the title.
