Man (30s) arrested after army called to estate in Co Wexford over suspect device

A man has been arrested in Wexford Town following the discovery of a suspect device at a residence on Friday night.
A cordon was established, and the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team attended the scene.
The EOD team examined the suspect device and subsequently made it safe.
The cordon has since been lifted.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at a Garda Station in Co. Wexford under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
