Ferbane comedian Tadhg Devery is back on the road with his show, 'A Day In The Country'.

Having initially kicked off the show in November of last year, the comedian started his nationwide tour last month.

The latest leg of the tour consists of ten dates, from Galway to Dublin, and everywhere in between. His next stop is in Athlone's Dean Crowe theatre on Friday, April 11, before heading to Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise on April 25.

"The shows I did before Christmas were set up off my own back, but this time I have a promoter on board," Tadhg said. "I've updated the show a bit, and I don't think any two shows are the same.

"I've added jokes, and I've taken bits and pieces out. The crowd are definitely more involved, so that's really great to see."

He said was delighted with the audience reaction to 'A Day In The Country'.

"The response so far has been unreal. I've done two shows in Limerick and Mayo so far, and people are already asking me when I'm coming back," he said.

"People tell me it's hard to find a comedian as genuinely funny these days, or that they haven't laughed that hard in a long time, which is a great compliment to receive."

While the current plans for 'A Day In The Country' see the show continuing until May of this year, Tadhg is eager to continue well into the summer months.

"I'll keep going as long as people keep showing up!" he added. "If you're looking for a bit of craic and a great night out, grab your tickets."

Tadhg is already setting the stage for a brand new show in 2026.
